Royal Hotel
Situated in the very heart of Heysham Village, the Royal
Hotel has acquired a reputation for outstanding speciality
food and a mouthwatering collection of guest cask ales.
Managers Jo McAulay and Chris Smith have worked hard to
create a weekly specials selection running alongside
Mitchell’s normal house menu. An eclectic mix of
Mediterranean influences and fresh looks at traditional
favourites such as venison and pheasant, has resulted in a
choice guaranteed to excite the most jaded of palates,
tired of ‘normal’ pub food.
Beers
Of course, great food requires great beers to slake the thirst and the Royal’s cellar is more than up to the task. Regular cask conditioned ales include Everard's Beacon and Thwaite’s Lancaster Bomber. Well done and thanks to Chris and Jo for completing their third year in charge at The Royal. Lots of positive change certainly, but there's no doubt the pub has gone from strength to strength and is a vast improvement on previous incarnations. Keep up the good work guys.

Yes I know it seems a long way off, but it is on it's way honestly. So think hot sun, great live music and real Royal Hotel superb beer and food; with that in mind, get these dates into your diary and book the day off!
